Maak een rit door de levendige winkelstraten van Port of Spain. Bekijk de Queen's Park Savannah en de prachtige, zeven gebouwen in koloniale stijl en bezoek het National Museum (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid). Bezoek Fort George voor een spectaculair panoramisch uitzicht op de haven van Spanje. Neem vervolgens de noordkust naar het beroemde Maracas-strand. Maak een stop bij het uitkijkpunt, maak wat foto's van de omliggende baaien en probeer zelfs een paar lokale hapjes zoals ananaschutney. Royal Botanical Gardens
Een wandeling in de prachtige botanische tuinen is het meest de moeite waard. Hier kunt u omarmen wat de natuur te bieden heeft. Maak een korte wandeling en bewonder de verschillende tropische bomen. Een echt vleugje hemel!

Fort King George
Betreed de drukke buitenwijk van St. James met een verbazingwekkend panoramisch uitzicht op Fort George, dat ongeveer 236 voet boven zeeniveau ligt. Geniet van het spectaculaire uitzicht vanaf deze historische plek over de stad Port of Spain en de Golf van Paria, Central & South Trinidad en de westkust van het eiland. Maracas Beach

Great highlights tour for short visit!

This tour was perfect for the 1-day we were visiting Port of Spain. The guide covered so much in just 5-6 hours, plus she was wonderful about teaching the history. We were picked up at our hotel and began the tour right away. After the tour we asked if we could purchase an airport transfer without a booking and the company/guide was so accommodating to help us out. Highly recommend this highlights tour if you have a short stay in POS and want to cover a lot of ground.

My visit to Trinidad and Tobago was from May 28th - June 4th 2022. I hired the services of Island Experiences located in St. Ann's Port of Spain, Trinidad. I can't say enough about the job that they did from start to finish, from putting together an amazing itinerary for both Islands and then assigning amazing tour guides who took care of every aspect of my tours, pickup and drop off ( Khaleel in Trinidad and Edith in Tobago). I must give them both top marks but I must also give a special shout out to Khaleel.
Khaleel was truly, truly amazing. I travel alone so it is extremely important that I feel completely comfortable with my guide. He definitely has the temperament for hospitality. Yes there was a pre-planned itinerary but he was gracious enough to ask if there were any coffee stops, restaurants, sites along the way, and more, that I was interested in making a stop. He was knowledgeable about Trinidad and extremely accommodating. Any anxiety I had about taking this solo trip disappeared a few minutes into my arrival and pickup by Khaleel. When I arrived in Tobago I informed my tour guide, Edith that she had a tough act to flow. She smiled and lived up to expectations. Edith and Khaleel thank you for a wonderful time on the sister Islands of Trinidad and Tobago!Â

This was an excellent half-day tour with a delightful and very knowledgeable tour guide, Jenelle. We had the opportunity to see the Port of Spain, Fort George historical site and Maracas beach.
We had a super group of four, including Jenelle. The tour was a lot of fun and very insightful. I couldn't forget to mention the Snow Cone and snacks - hmm hmmm!
Jenelle's patience and confidence are commendable and endearing. I would highly recommend the tour as a "must do" when visiting Port of Spain.

Bob is a great guy! My friend and me were picked up on time at our hotel and he showed us the Port of Spain city, Fort George and Maracas beach. A very good driver and he knows the city very well, showing us the best parts. One of the highlights of our tour was Fort George, were you can see the whole city and take a lot of beautiful photos.

I would highly recommend this tour. I was visiting family for the holidays with my bf and wanted to get a quick tour that could fully give him an idea of what Trinidad has to offer. This tour did not disappoint- had minimal communication prior to booking and all of my questions were promptly answered.
A little bit of community, history, Port Of Spain and Maracas beach! Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and your appetite! I was picked up promptly from the hotel and taken to a few select spots around the city. I got to view places I wouldn’t normally visit and all from the comfort of an air conditioner SUV. If felt more like a private tour and I was happy that I found it!

Today my wife,
Sylvia, and I completed the Trinidad highlights and monastery tour with Janelle.
We have been on many tours over the years and this tour stood out as one of the best we've taken. Touring with Janelle was like riding around with an old friend or family member. She is very knowledgeable and as friendly as it gets. Janelle even took a slight detour in San Juan so I could see the house I stayed in many years ago on previous visits. Showing Sylvia the highlights of Port of Spain and surrounding areas and keeping her so easily engaged was handled with ease by Janelle.
We hated for the day to end!!
